Visualisation of the value creation chain

Parts are produced to meet customer requirements from raw materials and via the design-to-manufacture procedure. Klingel medical metal covers every part of the value-added chain from CNC milling to subsequent surface processing. Its services also extend to include cleaning, testing, assembly, packaging, finishing and upgrading. Exhibits, presentations, videos, a VR headset offering a 360° tour of the company, brochures and printed materials were all used in Stuttgart to demonstrate the work flow across various departments. On the second day of the event, visitors to the stand included Pforzheim’s Chief Mayor Gert Hager, who was attending in his capacity as head of the agency WSP, a council-owned municipal enterprise to promote business in the city. He also took the opportunity to drop off at WSP’s joint stand. The two trade fair halls at the Medtec welcomed just fewer than 600 companies, all of which were presenting technological and service solutions for deployment in the medical engineering sector. Although the 2017 saw a slight fall in the numbers of visitors and exhibitors, Managing Director Christoph Lenze expressed his satisfaction at the outcome for Klingel medical metal. “In overall terms, we received good new customer trade fair contacts and specific project enquiries. Our focus now needs to be on processing these in a timely manner. It has once more been demonstrated that robust expansion of the value added chain surrounding the core processes of CNC manufacturing is the right way to go and is what our customers demand.”
